Established in 2016, the Rural Coffee Project is a fusion of our love for quality coffee, community, and the great outdoors. We believe that good coffee should be enjoyed at every event, wherever the setting.
Be it at a festival, wedding, corporate event or private function, our classic Land Rovers and vintage Rice horse box can be the cure to all your thirsty needs!
Andy is an enthusiastic outdoorsman, having scaled the summits of both the Pennine and West Highland way.
Hannah has always dreamed of running her own coffee shop, and after years of looking for the perfect venue, stumbled on to the idea of a roving rural coffee shop. And so it began.
Daisy is a beautiful ex-military Land Rover 127. Built in 1990, she used to work with the MOD as a mobile drone and missile command station.
After decommission, we found her online in 2015. We always dreamed of putting our mobile coffee shop in a classic Land Rover, and this stunning truck was the perfect match.
Due to popular demand and the need for a few more creature comforts in the typical unpredictable British weather, in 2018 we launched our second unit. Grace is a vintage Rice horse box, offering the same quality services and products but allowing us to trade in all weathers, all year round, or even double up with the Land Rover at busy events.
The Rural Coffee Project offers a bespoke and flexible service that can cater for a huge range of events and meetings. Whether you’re looking for a caffeine kick on your wedding day, a rustic centrepiece to a country show, corporate events or anything in between – we’ll fit right in!
